I love working with kids, and I have been doing this for over 13 years. I have two cats and three wonderful children of my own. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies and spending quality time with my kids. I also have a passion for tacos and hot chips!

Ms. Sara Abbott Lead Toddler Room Teacher

This is my third year in childcare, and I have always had a passion for working with children! I am currently a student at Northwest Vista College, studying education because I aspire to teach child development. At home, I have one dog named Sonni and a cat, both of whom I love spending time with. I am incredibly excited about working with kids and helping them grow!

Ms. Angelina Caffey Pre-K Teacher

This is my first year teaching, and working with kids has been my dream since I was little. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and watching my favorite shows. A fun fact about me is that I truly enjoy traveling, and my favorite place I’ve visited so far is Europe, particularly Italy. I am thrilled to begin my journey here at Kidz Playhouse Learning Center!

Ms. Tytiana Dumes HR

I started as an after-school teacher at Kidz Playhouse Learning Center in April 2019, and then expanded my knowledge in childcare and gained experience in teaching & working with our infants, toddlers, and pre-k program. I obtained my bachelor’s from Prairie View A&M in 2020 and found a passion in Human Resources. I love traveling and spending quality time with my family, along with caring for my pit bull, Bentley. It is a pleasure to have the responsibility of finding and maintaining our wonderful staff to ensure we have the best teachers caring for your kids.

Wendy L. Martinez Director

With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and childcare leadership, Mrs. Wendy L. Martinez is the heart of Kidz Playhouse Learning Center. She began her career with a simple mission—to provide loving care for children—and quickly discovered her lifelong passion.

Over the years, Wendy has served in many roles, including Child Development Specialist, Certified Teacher, Program Coordinator, and Childcare Center Director. Her expertise spans curriculum planning, staff development, state licensing compliance, and building strong partnerships with families.

Wendy is deeply committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Known for her warm personality and strong leadership, she leads with compassion and dedication, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

Her philosophy is simple: “Every child deserves a safe, loving, and enriching place to learn and grow.”

Ms. Gabby Pre-K Teacher

With 5 years of experience in early learning development, Ms. Gabby brings energy, creativity, and dedication to her classroom every day. She has a true passion for working with young children and specializes in helping Pre-K students build the foundation they need for success in school and beyond.

Ms. Gabby is known for her engaging teaching style, patience, and ability to connect with children on their level. She focuses on preparing her students academically while also nurturing their social and emotional growth through fun, structured learning activities. Families describe her as a caring and inspiring teacher who always goes above and beyond to make learning exciting.

Her goal is to ensure every child in her classroom feels confident, loved, and ready for the next step in their educational journey.
